How do I order a phone card from PhoneCardsMart if I've never purchased from you before?
If you have never purchased from our automated web site, you will first need to Create Your New Account with us. Simply click on the menu link Create New Account. Fill out and submit your electronic application, login, then proceed to search, view and/or purchase your phone card.
To qualify as a member of PhoneCardsMart.com
- You must verify that you are a United States resident at least 18 years of age.
- You must use a valid U.S. credit card (MasterCard or VISA only are accepted), a valid U.S. checking account, or a valid U.S. PayPal account as your payment method.
- You must agree to and accept our Terms of Service.
- You must apply for membership using your Internet Service Provider (ISP) assigned email address. No public domain accounts such as Hotmail, Yahoo, etc, will be allowed for initial membership sign up. We do not rent, sell, or give your email address or any other information about you to any third parties.
Based upon confirmation of the New User and Payment information you provide us, you will receive an email notification from us shortly thereafter (normally within 24 hours, with the exception of users paying by check, which can be validated only during regular banking hours and days). This notification will inform you of either:
- 1. Your fulfillment email containing full details of the phone card you ordered - toll-free access number(s), PIN(s) and Customer Service telephone number(s). Your member registration has been accepted.

- 2. Your denial as a member of our web site because of incomplete, inaccurate, or unacceptable information you provided to us.

What do I receive when I purchase a phone card from PhoneCardsMart?
Within moments of placing your order, you will receive an email containing the name, toll-free access phone number, customer service phone number, and your unique PIN (personal identification number) of the phone card you purchased. You can then use it immediately to place phone calls. Check your Inbox for this email fulfillment notification.
What payment methods do you accept?

How do I use a phone card I buy from PhoneCardsMart?
Once your fulfillment email arrives to your inbox, simply follow the dialing instructions you receive from us.
- Dial the toll-free access number from any touch-tone telephone.
- At the voice prompt, enter your PIN#
(personal identification number).
- At the next voice prompt, enter your destination phone number.
For domestic calls:
Dial 1 + area code + telephone number.
For international calls (from the USA):
Dial 011 + Country Code + City Code + local number.
International dialing may vary by phone card. Full dialing instructions are included with each instant email fulfillment you receive after purchase.
- Upon each use, the caller is told how many minutes remain for the pre-determined $5, $10, $20, etc. denomination.
- Caller has a one-minute warning, alerting when the card is almost used up.
If you are dialing internationally, be sure to enter 011, and the country code before your destination phone number.
Either print that email message, or write down your access number, PIN and customer service number and put them in a safe place.
Each time you place a phone call with your phone card, a voice prompt will announce your remaining dollar value, and remaining minutes available for your next call (based on your destination call and your PIN).
Can I use my phone card from any telephone?
You may use it from any touch-tone telephone, including cell phones (for cards who advertise cellular or mobile rates) and pay phones.
Keep in mind that a payphone surcharge (anywhere from 45¢ - 65¢) is deducted for all calls placed from a payphone.
As for cell phone usage, you are still responsible for your provider's air time even though you by-pass their long distance. Also, you will normally find that cellular phone card rates are higher than the normal phone card rates.
We recommend you do not buy a card that does not specify a cellular rate for a country you need if that country's cellular rate is not listed. The rate could be quite high.
Can I purchase by Mail Order?
Yes you can! On the right side of our Home Page there is a link that says "Mail Order Forms". Click that link, select the card you desire and click that link. You will then be presented with a printable mail order form. Fill it out and mail it along with your payment to us at the address located on the bottom of this form.
With mail order, you may choose email delivery (at no extra cost) or postal mail delivery of the actual phone cards (postal and handling fee applies).
Mail orders may be paid for with checks or money order only.
How long is my phone card valid?
90 days from your purchase date.
What should I do if I have problems like a bad connection or a disconnect when using my phone card?
Hang up immediately (less than 30-seconds is suggested) and call the customer service phone number we provided you. Report the problem and request that your PIN be credited with any time lost.
What if I do not received the minutes you have advertised? Do I have any recourse?
As stated in our Terms of Use, each phone card carries the disclaimer of "all rates are subject to change without notice". So therefore you have no recourse. Understand that PhoneCardsMart does not provide the phone card service, but rather we are a reseller. We have no control over rate adjustments, nor do we have the capability to make credit adjustments to your PIN. You will need to contact the customer service department at the phone number provided in your fulfillment details. But, please let of know of any rate changes you encounter by emailing us at support.
What is PhoneCardsMart Refund Policy?
All sales are final. Please, pay attention when you place your order so that you purchase the specific card you intended to, as well as the correct quantity.

I placed my order but have not received my email fulfillment containing my PIN and dialing instructions. What should I do?
If you are an authorized member, please contact us immediately so that we may resolve the issue. Members may also login to their account and select the PIN History link from the members menu.
If this is your first-time ordering with us, you must wait for us to verify your member and payment information. Normally, this can take anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours. All orders you place thereafter will be fulfilled instantly to your email.
For new members choosing to pay us with their checking account, your membership will be verified by the end of the following regular bank business day. We DO contact your bank to confirm your account information.

Things to watch for when purchasing prepaid phone cards
- For short calls, we recommend 'no connect fee' phone cards. Otherwise, the connect fees can use up most of your available time.
- For long calls (usually 30+ minutes each call), it is often more economical to use a card that has per call connect fees, which can offer lower rates per minute.
- Expiration dates. Pay attention to them and use your PIN before it expires. All of our prepaid phone card PINs expire 90 days from your purchase date.
